This is an authentic vintage aluminum German forest sign prohibiting select vehicles from driving in the forest. It's a Nature and Environmental Protection Sign indicating that a forest path is closed to certain types of traffic.
Vintage ca. 1980s & sourced directly from the region of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
It’s an aluminum light-weight but solid sign in relatively good condition. A few presentation of paint scratching w/standard age wear consistent with its age. Please review photos carefully.

The prohibited traffic includes Bicycles (w/motors), motor vehicles, & Horse-drawn carriages (teams) or vehicles w/trailers or pulled by animals, indicated by red "X" over the symbols. However, vehicles & equipment used for forest management are permitted to use the forest path.
