This is an authentic vintage German enamel sign for “Bayerische Versicherungsbank Allianz Versicherung Agentur”. (Bavarian Insurance Bank Allianz Insurance Agency).

Vintage ca. 1950s & sourced directly from the region of Saarland, Germany.

The sign is convex with a significant & solid covering of enamel. It’s a solid, heavyweight piece with a few enamel vacancies in 3 of the corners indicative of standard age wear consistent with age. Please review photos carefully.

- Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bavaria, which was used on government buildings and official documents.
- The text "1835"refers to the founding year of the Bayerische Versicherungsbank.
