Sold out

This is an authentic Italian enamel street sign - Via Vittorio Veneto (Rome, Italy). The street is located in one of Rome's most famous, renowned, elegant, & upscale boulevards. The inscription "R.XVI" in the upper right corner indicates it's location in Rione XVI, the Ludovisi district.

The name, originally named after the Veneto region, was renamed in 1919 to commemorate the Battle of Vittorio Veneto, a decisive Italian victory in World War I.

The street became globally famous in the 1950s & 60s as the center of La Dolce Vita ("the sweet life"), a period of high fashion and celebrity culture immortalized by filmmaker Federico Fellini.

Sourced directly from the region of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

The sign is flat with a light covering of enamel. It’s a solid, medium weight sign presenting very few blemishes but standard age wear consistent with its age should be expected. Please review photos carefully.
