WW2 (Nazi Germany) Artillery Propellant Powder Bag - Panther Tank Main Gun

$115.00

This is an authentic WW2, Nazi Germany artillery silk propellant powder bag for a 7.5cm caliber weapon (used in KwK 42 and Stuk 42 guns) containing its original textile stencil markings. These bags are rare & significantly more collectible than standard field artillery or howitzer powder bags due to its relationship to the Panther Tank. The Kw.K.42 is the main gun of the iconic Panther tank) and the Stu.K.42 was used on the Jagdpanzer IV/70). Further, these Silk propellant bags were designed to burn completely inside the gun breech when fired. Surviving unfired examples are uncommon. The clear, fully legible black stenciled letters, clear 1943 manufacturing date, and intact fabric heavily support its collectibility.
