Vintage (ca. 1960s) German (Pirmasens) Train Destination Sign - Metal

This is an authentic German train destination metal sign. The sign carries the name of the starting location (Kaiserslautern) & its end location (Pirmasens). It can be flipped upside down for when the train returns in the opposite direction.

The sign’s reverse is of another starting location and its destination.

It would have hung at the exterior (side) of the train to announce the train’s destination to passengers waiting on the platform.

Vintage, ca. 1960s & sourced directly from the region of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

The sign shape is rectangle, metal, & flat with signs of standard age wear.

It’s solid & medium weight. Standard age wear consistent with its age should be expected. Please review photos carefully.
