WW2 (USSR) Soviet 30th Anniversary Medal

The Soviet 30th Anniversary Medal, established April 25th, 1975, marks thirty years of victory in the 'Great Patriotic War 1941 - 1945'.

Original Issue - Full Size Medal - Brass

The medal was conferred ONLY upon veterans and came in three variations all w/the same ribbon and obverse.
VARIATIONS w/statement on Reverse:
1). Military Service - "To the Participant of War"
2). Distinguished Labor - "To the Participant of the Labor Front"
3). Special Military Delegation - Only the legend "XXX years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" (for special military delegations arriving in Moscow to take part in 30th anniversary celebrations).

Distribution (estimates):
Military Participants - 11 Million
Labor Front Workers - 3 Million
Foreign Delegations - 5 Million
