This is an authentic WW2 Nazi Germany war veteran lapel pin issued by the National Socialist War Victim's Care organization(NSKOV). The NSKOV was a social welfare organziation specifically for severely wounded veterans of frontline fighters of WW1 and WW2. It represents the NSDAP-era veterans' aid organization, which provided financial assistance, medical care, and employment support to those injured in military service.
DESCRIPTION:
An aluminum badge w/silver wash taking the form of a mobile swastika over which a sword is vertically superimposed surrounded by a laurel wreath.
Reverse: A pin-back device crimped at its reverse. May be horizontal or vertical. May have a stamped number.
