HISTORY:
The NSKOV was established in 1934 & incorporated earlier veterans' organizations into the German-controlled structure aimed at reinforcing party ideology while offering support to former soldiers. The group's insignia often depicted a steel helmet and sword, symbolizing both the sacrifice and continued strength of Germany's veterans. These lapel pins were commonly distributed to those who contributed financially to the organization, making them both a historical relic and a representation of the broader militarization of German society under the Third Reich.
