This crown commemorates The Right Honorable Sir Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of Great Britain during and through WW2, from 1940 to 1945 and again from, October 1951 to April 1955. He was also the 1st Lord Admiralty from 1939 to 1940.

Winston Churchill was in 30 November 1874 and died in 24 January 1965.

Formerly legal tender, this vintage 1965 crown had a denominational value of twenty-five pence & circulated during the Elizabeth II era (1952 to ca.1971) thus, provides the perfect collector’s piece.
