Bush on March 15th, 1991, awarded to US Armed Forces personnel who participated in, or directly supported military operations during the FIRST Persian Gulf war (Southwest Asia or surrounding areas), between 2 August 1990 & 30 November 1995 (Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and follow-on operations).

Description:
The tan color represents sand while the black, red, white, blue, and green colors represent the participating countries' national colors.
