A Kingdom of Iraq Police Medal issued during the reign of King Faisal II (1939-1958).

The medal was instituted in 1939 and awarded as a Police General Service Medal. It was issued through the end of King Faisal II's reign in 1958 when the Monarchy was abolished on 14 July 1958.

The Medal is in bronze and maker marked on reverse...in local language. Medal is in excellent condition.
