This is an authentic WW2-era porcelain soup bowl of Nazi Germany used in a Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) - German Labor Front mess hall; it was manufactured by Bauscher - Weiden of Bavaria, indicated by its back stamp.

Porcelain ware like this was standard issue in mess halls and canteens, used by workers and staff during the period.

Markings:
- Manufacturers Mark: Bauscher - Weiden.
- Arbeitsdienst (Labor Service) refers to the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) which was the official state organization in Nazi Germany responsible for reducing unemployment, militarizing the workforce, and indoctrinating young Germans.
-Date stamped 1936, placing its production directly during the pre-WWII National Socialist consolidation period.

Condition:
Made of high quality porcelain; produced with durability & design to withstand regular use. Maintains mostly its original polish throughout & contains standard age wear. For its age, it’s in excellent condition w/quite visible markings at the underside.

The Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) was the state labor organization which replaced independent trade unions after Adolf Hitler's rise to power.
