This is an authentic official German aluminum railway platform safety sign issued by Deutsche Bahn AG. The signs official name is "Warnung vor ein- und durchfahrenden Zügen" (Warning of arriving and passing trains).

It warns passengers on the platform about the dangerous suction effect and fall risk (Sogund Sturzgefahr) caused by fast-moving or incoming trains.

The pictogram depicts a red train passing a platform next to a falling human silhouette, visually instructing passengers to keep a safe distance from the platform edge. The graphic face utilizes retroreflective sheeting (typically Type RA1 or RA2 engineering grade) designed to maximize night-time visibility when illuminated by station lights.

This particular sign is a decommissioned artifact from a station in the southwest region of Germany, & sourced directly from the region of Saarland, Germany.
