Vintage (ca. 1970s/80s) German (Enamel) Esso Petrol Sign

$245.00

This is an authentic German enamel Esso sign depicting a tiger holding a red rose in its mouth. The brand logo, the signature oval Esso emblem is visible in the bottom-left corner. It's a porcelain enamel-coated metal sign. This specific variation features a high-quality, realistic tiger portrait.

Sign Text:
"Der Tiger packt's" (The tiger grabs it or The tiger can do it). This builds on the brand's classic global tagline, "Pack den Tiger in den Tank" (Put a tiger in your tank). This collectible sign is an authentic piece of vintage gas station memorabilia from a long-running advertising campaign.

This particular sign was prominently featured across European petrol stations during the 1970s and 1980s. It was sourced directly from the region of Hesse, Germany.
