This is an authentic period Nazi Germany, RARE Third Reich 3D stereoscopic photo book, a red hardcover book featuring gilt lettering. It's titled Großdeutschlands Wiedergeburt: Weltgeschichtliche Stunden an der Donau (Greater Germany's Rebirth: Historic Hours Along the Danube) & written by Dr. Karl Bartz. The book is a piece of historical propaganda detailing the 1938 Anschluss, which was the annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany & includes an introduction by Hermann Göring.
It features stereoscopic (3D) photographs captured by Adolf Hitler's official photographer, Professor Heinrich Hoffmann. It was published in 1938 by Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schönstein in Diessen am Ammersee. These specialized Raumbildwerk books feature heavy covers containing deep compartments which housed a set of 100 stereoscopic photo cards in four separate compartments alongside a pair of metal, fold-out viewing glasses used to view the photos in 3D.
Condition:
It shows wear/tear to the spine and some "untight" pages in the binding. 98 of 100 3D photos are present (#5 & #56 are absent) as is the viewing glasses. The visual depiction of the pages and photographs are still good.
