This is an authentic period Nazi Germany, first-edition hardcover copy of the historical German cloth-bound book, Olympia 1936, documenting the 1936 Summer Olympic Games. It was written by Willi Fr. Könitzer and published by Reichssportverlag (Reich Sports Publishing House) in Berlin & was created as an official overview (in words and pictures) of the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. These books were heavily integrated into state publicity efforts to showcase Germany under Nazi rule.
The book covers significant portions of the olympics, written primarily in the German language (Latin text), loads of black & white photos, including events where Jesse Owens participated in.

History:
Feldscherschar was a dedicated field-medic sub-unit within the Hitler Youth structure. Members of these squads (Feldscher) were adolescents trained in advanced first aid, basic triage, and field medical duties. As World War II progressed, these specialized youth units were heavily integrated into civil defense, military hospitals, and front-line support roles. Red stamps like those in this book were stamped onto internal documentation, official correspondence, membership IDs (Ausweis), or specialized instructional manuals belonging to that specific local branch.
