History:
The K6 telephone box was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V in 1935.

The crown emblem on the K6 model was molded from metal, unlike previous models where it was a series of ventilation holes.

The K6 was the first red telephone box to be widely deployed outside of London, and it became an iconic symbol of the United Kingdom.
