A piece of a broken porcelain dish of Nazi Germany. This piece is a part of a broken dinner plate from a WW2 era Luftwaffe mess hall.

Description:
Rounded and maintains its original polish on either side w/unpolished edges.

Obverse: Sharply depicts the early Luftwaffe (flying) eagle clutching a 1/4 turned swastika in its talons. Also marked by the company ‘Kolmar' & dated 1940. Marked 'Fl. U.V.‘ for Flieger-Unterkunfts-Verwaltung (Pilot Accommodation Administration).

Reverse: Blank w/magnet (refrigerator magnet).

History:
Although 100% authentic, its specific origin cannot be certain but is likely from the vicinity of the city of Koenigsberg, Germany (now Kaliningrad, Russia) or the greater East Prussia area.
