WW2 (Nazi Germany) Eastern Front Medal - Authentic Issue

Established by Adolf Hitler on 26 May 1942 recognizing those who performed service during the first winter of the Russian campaign.

Conferred upon those of military formations who served on the Eastern Front for a minimum of 14 days between 16 November 1941 and 15 April 1942. Also conferred upon those of non-military formations who served on the Eastern Front for a minimum of 60 days, same inclusive dates.

Other recipients:
Luftwaffe - 30 days of operational flying.
Wounded in the line of duty - time period for award could be reduced.
