British Royalty - The Queen Mother Commemorative Crown & Presentation Folder

This crown commemorates Her Majesty H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother's 80th Birthday (1900 - 1980). The crown is accompanied by a presentation folder detailing her path to the title, The Queen Mother.

Formerly legal tender, this vintage 1980 crown had a denominational value of twenty-five pence and along w/its presentation folder, provides the perfect collector’s piece.

Obverse:
The fine Arnold Machin portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Reverse:
Designed by Professor Richard Guyatt and features a portrait of the Queen Mother centered, surrounded by a radiating pattern of symbolic bows and lions which are an allusion to her family name.
