This is an authentic WW2-era porcelain saucer of Nazi Germany used in a Kriegsmarine (German Navy) mess hall with strong underside maker's mark. Very likely used aboard ships and/or U-boats throughout the war.
Porcelain ware like this was standard issue in mess halls and canteens, used by workers and staff during the period.
Markings:
- Sharply depicts the national eagle above the letter M (Marine) which is the Kriegsmarine or Germany Navy. The mark distinguishes naval military tableware from the other services which had different markings.
Condition:
Made of high quality porcelain; produced with durability & design to withstand regular use. Maintains mostly its original polish throughout but does have wear marks; standard age wear should be expected.
