Vtg Pair of German Ceramic Beer Steins (Feuerwehr Krug) - Firefighter Themed

A pair of vintage German firefighter-themed ceramic beer steins, referred to as "Feuerwehr Krug" in German. The reliefs honor historical firefighters (Feuerwehr) & feature a fireman blowing a signal horn to sound an alarm while a building burns in the background.

Left Stein - Finished in a detailed, multi-colored hand-painted glaze with a brown base and top rim. Right Stein - Finished in a classic monochromatic stone-grey or cobalt blue wash glaze, highlighting the crisp structural lines of the relief work.
