Vintage British Beer Pump Tap Handle - Home Bitter Cask Conditioned

$15.00

This is an authentic vintage molded plastic British beer tap handle/badge. These clasps (or clips) are badges attached to beer tap handles in British pubs to display the name, style, and alcohol content of the beer currently being served from that particular line.

From the famous home brewery of Daybrook, Nottinghamshire, this "Home Bitter" is a classic British cask-conditioned ale, often known as "Home Ales".The brewery was founded in 1875 and became widely recognized for its iconic green branding and its deep association with Nottingham. The central shield depicts Nottingham's most famous legendary figure, Robin Hood, wielding a bow and arrow. This ties directly into the "The Local Legend" slogan printed on the banner across the bottom.

Home Bitter was the brewery's flagship cask-conditioned pale ale, popular across pubs in the East Midlands for generations before the original brewery site closed its production doors in the late 1990s.
