Vintage (1990s) British Beer Pump Clamp/Badge - Spitfire Premium

$15.00

This is an authentic vintage solid plastic British beer pump label/badge + two matching beer coasters for the Spitfire Premium Bitter. These clasps are badges attached to beer taps in British pubs to display the name, style, and alcohol content of the beer currently being served from that particular line.

The brewery, Shepherd Neame, known as Britain's oldest brewery, was founded in Faversham, Kent. The Spitfire Premium Bitter (also known as Spitfire Amber Ale), is an iconic British bitter. It was originally brewed in 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, which was famously fought in the skies over Kent. It takes its name and imagery from the historic Supermarine Spitfire fighter aircraft. The beer coasters showcase a silhouette of the Spitfire plane flying into a sunset on one side while the reverse provides tasting notes for its counterpart, Spitfire Gold, listing ingredients like Challenger, Centennial, and Saaz hops.
