This is an authentic WW2 period Nazi Germany DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront/German Labor Front) aluminum wall plaque. These pieces served as decorative emblems or wall signs. They were commonly mounted in German factories, business offices, or attached to desk ornaments to project party alignment.
Description:
Cast from lightweight aluminum and measures approximately 8" in diameter. It features the distinctive organizational symbol of the DAF, a 14-toothed cogwheel surrounding a ribbed, mobile swastika. The bottom bolt and threading indicate how it was originally secured, attached, or anchored.
