Inter-War (Nazi Germany) NSDAP Party Membership Badge - Early Version

This is an authentic, early version of the NSDAP Party Membership Badge or "Parteitabzeichen" in German (produced between 1929 and 1933). Worn by all members of the Nazi Party (NSDAP) & typically worn and displayed on the lapel of the wearers coat.

Description:
A red circular border w/the inscription, "Nationalsozialistische D.A.P." surrounding a black swastika encircled in white.
Reverse: Contains the RZM with "No25" stamp. The horizontal pin is partially in tact but missing the "connector"

HISTORY:
Introduced in 1929 & widely used throughout the Nazi era serving as a symbol of membership and loyalty to the Party. There are different variations of this badge, to include the Golden Party Badge (awarded to early and distinguished members) & Gau (regional) badges (issued by local political leaders. Note: The public display of all Nazi Party awards was banned in 1945 following the allied victory.
