WW2 (Nazi Germany) RARE DLV Traditional Uniform Patch of the SS/SA Flying Groups

This is an authentic WW2 Nazi Germany Deutscher Luftsportverband (DLV), "German Air Sports Association" uniform patch for members of the SA/SS Flugstaffel (Flying Groups). It was worn by members who joined the flying groups prior to 1933 & was worn on the upper right arm of the uniform.

Description:
A well crafted bullion, constructed of flat and twisted silver bullion wire embroidery, threaded around a thin fabric core; on a bluish-gray Luftwaffe paper backer.

Reverse: Black paper backing.

Measurements (approximate): 1 3/4" Diameter

History:
The DLV was a Nazi Party organization established in March 1933 to create a uniform basis for German air sports & was a precursor to the Luftwaffe.
