This is an authentic lot of ephemera belonging to a German citizen, Richard Wagner. The lot contains personal & other letters, envelopes with period stamps & ink stamps as well as a Nazi era booklet with a dedication page to the daughter of Richard Wagner, Eva Chamberlain.
The letters and envelopes date to varying years and months in the 1940s and are all written in the old style gothic Fraktur text. The booklet has a two page (3 & 4) excerpt from (likely) German composer Richard Wagner, titled "German Words of Richard Wagner) where he describes his thoughts on German identity, culture, and music.
The booklet dates to the mid-1930s (ca. 1933-1935 timeframe) & published in Leipzig. It's a historical Nazi era piece drawing a connection between Adolf Hitler & the cultural environment of the Bayreuth Festival, which was famously associated with the composer Richard Wagner. Works like this were used to associate the Nazi regime with established German cultural figures and ideals.
