In January 1935, over 90% of the Saarland's population voted to return to the German Reich after being administered by the League of Nations following World War I. It was published jointly by the Verlag der Deutschen Arbeitsfront (Berlin) and the NSZ-Verlag. The net proceeds (Reinertrag) were donated to the Winterhilfswerk (Winter Relief Fund) for the Saar region.
