This is an authentic 1936 German cigarette card collector's album titled "Das Deutsche Heer im Manöver" (The German Army on Maneuvers). It was published in 1936 by the Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Dresden, the book provides a pictorial overview of the German army's activities during that period.
These albums were common propaganda and marketing tools in the 1930s, where consumers would collect individual cards found in cigarette packs & affix them inside the book to the corresponding text...hence the name, "Cigaretten Book". When complete, the album contains 250 "tipped-in" (pasted) photographs or color illustrations depicting various military scenes.
This book is a "pasteboard" (softcover) book that is 100% complete containing 80 pages of text and photos. The cover illustrates a German soldier operating a rangefinder (Entfernungsmesser).
